Applying to University of Latvia
Applications are made through the university’s own admissions channel, or through a national application platform where Latvia operates one. Applications go directly to each higher education institution - there is no single national portal for international applicants, and each institution's admission procedure differs. The usual sequence is: choose a programme and institution, submit the application, wait for your documents to be recognised, sit any required examination or interview, receive and sign the study agreement, and then arrange the visa or residence permit.
Entry requirements, tuition fees, application deadlines and English-language minimums differ by course and change every year. We do not republish them here, because an out-of-date figure is worse than none — read them on the university’s admissions pages before you apply.
